Julie Steinbacher

Twenty years ago, Julie started an elder law practice in her garage with one simple belief: aging families deserve exceptional legal counsel delivered with genuine compassion.

Today, she leads Steinbacher, Goodall & Yurchak—a thriving firm with seven offices across Central Pennsylvania and nearly 60 team members serving families throughout the region. As a Certified Elder Law Attorney, she's devoted her career to protecting the dignity and independence of older adults, serving on boards for the Alzheimer's Association of America and even owning a personal care home.

But Julie's most important credential is one she never wanted: experienced caregiver. As a daughter who cared for her own mother through her final years, Julie intimately understands the emotional, legal, and financial maze her clients navigate daily.

Now, through the "Hey Woman" podcast she co-hosts with her daughter Cortney, Julie shares that wisdom—creating honest conversations and genuine community for caregivers who need both practical guidance and permission to feel everything they're feeling. Because protecting families isn't just what Julie does—it's who she is.

Cortney Steinbacher

Cortney discovered her calling at the intersection of numbers and compassion—watching her mother serve aging families as an elder law attorney, then walking her own caregiving journey with her beloved Nana. As a Strategic Profit Analyst, Fractional CFO, and Financial Business Planner, she helps elder law attorneys across the country build profitable, sustainable practices. But her heart work is co-hosting the "Hey Woman" podcast with her mother Julie, creating authentic community for caregivers navigating life's most tender moments.

Based in Boston with her spirited poodle Minnie, Cortney brings both analytical precision and deep empathy to everything she does—because she knows that behind every financial strategy and every caregiving story is a family deserving dignity, support, and hope.
